The last couple of days I feel that God has just blessed with me with some great deals. It is neat how that happens. It seems whenever we need to "tighten our belt" financially, that is when God really gives us good deals.
We have a new HEB, and for the past two weeks, I have gotten about $20 in free food. And that is great, because now I have 3 kids who eat three meals a day at home...and so it seems that we go through a lot of food..
Then today, we went to Target, and we found numerous things on clearance for around $2 each. Normally I probably would not have stocked up so much, but knowing that it will be summer all the time for the next five years, we jumped on it. We also were able to get Josh some khakis. He rarely wears them and had a great pair from last fall, that were too short and too tight, so we moved up a size...
Everyone around me is back to school shopping. It is kind of cool that I get a break from the $75 school supply list I have to get for each kid every year. We just needed some new pencils and a few other small things. On top of that, we are so blessed that we are receiving a scholarship for our home schooling. We are having to pay for very little.
God is so good. He takes care of the little things...that are sometimes not that little.
