"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1
Faith is hard. Sometimes God tells us something. And we don't see how it is all going to work. Or how it could work. But He told us to believe. So we have to, right? But it is hard:(
By faith, I have seen people pray for loved ones. And even when the loved ones seem to be taking no steps at all toward salvation, they still prayed. They still stood. They asked others to pray with them. And we baptized some of those loved ones last night.
By faith, I have prayed with women to conceive. Even when it had been eleven years that they had tried. And then, when they never thought they would, they saw a positive on a pregnancy test. Yesterday, one very special, very longed for baby was born.
Faith is hard. It is hard to believe when you don't see things happening as fast as they should. But we still must pray and stand on God's word and BELIEVE that He will do what He says He will do.
God has increased my faith so greatly over the years. More recently through the adoption process. And then on an even greater level, moving me to Belize. I have to have faith in His Word even stronger here than ever before. And He comes through EVERY SINGLE TIME. My God is Faithful...He simply asks me to trust Him and have Faith in Him.
Robyn -- thank you for sharing this. We are having faith for another baby now too. I'm trusting in His timing and in His way. Love you and your precious Spirit.
