There once was a Circus from Mexico...

There once was a man, who stayed a child at heart.  This man always talked about the joys of going to the circus as a kid.  The little small, one ring circus, that would travel to his town as a child.  He would talk about watching the elephants raise the poles to put up that big circus tent.  And always wanted to go to a small circus like that again.

Said Man grew up and had a birthday where he turned 41 years old.  One day this man saw the circus in a neighboring town...and wished and waited to see if it would come to his town.

And it did.

So, he made plans for his family to go to this small circus for a Friday night adventure.

And an adventure it was.

Many small adventures happened during this family's time at the one ring circus:
the entire show was in Spanish, which this family did not know,
so when the electricity went out while the tigers were in the ring, the family did not know what was being announced...
there was only one small grass fire under the tent,
the mother learned to lean close on the Lord, as they sat just feet from all the action,
as the children of the performers walked around with homemade candy apples and ice cream snacks to sell,
the family got to watch a young man, named Michael Jackson, do the moonwalk,
watch a juggler,
hula-hoop girl that needed some clothes on!!!,
some cows, horses and a camel run around the ring,
some crazy clowns,
and much more.

The moral of this short story is that this wonderful father and husband got to be a kid again, just for one night.  And his family got to go along for the ride.

Hope you enjoyed our little adventure.
